Frequently asked questions

Which devices does Supernote run on?

Supernote is an iOS app for iPhone and iPad.

Do I need an account?

No. There are no accounts and no login. Open the app and start typing.

Does Supernote sync between my iPhone and iPad?

No. Supernote is fully local by design — there is no cloud sync and no servers. Each device keeps its own data. You can move individual items using the share sheet.

Where is my data stored?

In a local database on your device. Nothing is collected, transmitted, or shared. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

What happens if I delete the app?

Because all data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes your notes with it. If your notes matter, keep a device backup (for example via iCloud device backup or your computer) before removing the app.

How do I get my notes out of the app?

Use the system share sheet from within the app to send a note wherever you like — it only happens when you choose to.
